Kaitlyn is a certified Grade 1 to 3 ‘Chinese National Folk Dance Teacher’ and a member of the ‘Pan American Chinese Dance Alliance’ in Los Angeles. She strives to promote Chinese dance and culture within the North American region.
Kaitlyn first joined Zhaoli Dance School as a student at the age of four in 2005 which led her to becoming the youngest teacher at ZDS, motivating students of all ages to build confidence, discipline, and trust within themselves. She constantly searches for ways to contribute to her community, broadening the representation of minority cultures. She has gained recognition in the community for her talents and has started networking with other dancers to share their experiences and perform together.
In 2016, she was one of the selected overseas Chinese to represent Calgary in the “Cultures of China - Overseas Chinese Dance Competition” with her solo “Rouged Lips” (点绛唇), located in Shenzhen, China – winning the New Star award. In 2018, her self-choreographed solo ‘Missing You’ (思念) won the Top 10 Elite Platinum, Dedication Spirit Award, Judges Award, and an Outstanding Choreography Award at the 2018 “Taoli World Dance Competition”, in Los Angeles, USA.
She was also the recipient for the ‘2018 Youth of Distinction - Art and Culture Award’ which is given to a youth who demonstrates a passion for the arts & culture which includes, music, dance, theatre, film, or visual arts, and is committed to helping others understand the importance of arts in their community through acts like mentoring and teaching.

泛美舞蹈聯盟成員 。中國民族民間舞一,二 ,三級教師資格。四歲就讀於加拿大趙莉舞蹈學校,擅長和熱愛中國舞, 中國民族民間舞, 古典舞。她希望能夠在北美地區推廣中國舞蹈藝術和文化。多年屢次獲得國內外舞蹈金獎,少青獎。 2016 年榮獲文化中國海外華人中華舞蹈大賽新星獎. 2018 年榮獲加拿大卡爾加里青年中心授予的“優秀青少年獎” - 該獎項授予他對藝術和文化的熱情,並致力於通過指導和教學等行為幫助他人了解藝術在社區中的重要性。
