We emphasize the consistent practice of dance class and performance etiquette and dress code.
- Each student is required to attend class on a regular basis and needs to arrive to class 10 minutes prior to class time. Students need to arrive in enough time to change clothing and use restrooms, etc., before class starts. This is very important during the months of competition and recital.
- All students MUST be picked up within 10 minutes of the end of class.
- Students who miss three or more classes may have a diminished role in performances.
- Students must be dressed properly, tie up hair neatly, and remove jewelry for every class.
- NO running in the studio, hanging off the barres or touching the mirrors.
- Eyes and attention must always be on the teacher.
- Be appreciative of corrections and apply them.
- Be kind to your classmates and teachers. Being annoying and rude is unacceptable.
- NO talking on the barre during class.
- Never stop in the middle of an exercise.
- NO gum, food, or drinks other than water are permitted in the studio.
- Leaving class before it is over is unacceptable unless the student has valid reasons.
DRESS CODE
Hair MUST be tied back in a bun for all classes.
