Jasmine Sun has studied Chinese dance, ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop and ballroom. She is now a student at the University of Calgary double majoring in dance and kinesiology. Jasmine is a member of the Pan American Chinese Dance Alliance and has completed her Chinese Folk and Ethnic Dance Teacher Training course in levels 4-6. She has also achieved her Royal Academy of Dance Advanced 2 ballet exam, and Associated Dance Arts for Professional Teachers jazz exams up to Intermediate 1. She has competed in numerous competitions. Her solo won the Champion of Champions award at Champions Dance; highest mark solo and duet at Dance Power; an elite platinum award, a platinum award, and 2 Taoli spirit awards at the Taoli World Dance competition; and platinum awards and 2 Taoli spirit awards at the Taoli World Dance Finals. Jasmine hopes to spread her love of dance and looks forward to helping each student rise to their full potential.
